We offer our customers the widest possible choices in all aspects of their rental packages.
Cancellation and Re-booking Protection:
We offer a Non-cancellable rental package at a lower price than our Cancellable packages:
We advise potential customers to consider whether acceptance of such an offer is suitable for their own circumstances or whether they should arrange appropriate travel insurance with compensation for lost pre-payments.
Our unique Cancellation and Re-booking Protection Package covers all other rental packages:
Should you choose to cancel your rental car booking, irrespective of any cause, you are guaranteed a full refund of any other money that you have already paid towards your rental, but not yet activated, provided only that we receive your notification of cancellation more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of your rental term. If you fail to meet the 48 hour requirement, the maximum amount that will be retained by us will be $75.00, plus the payment card fee already activated.
You will be entitled to make an unlimited number of date and/or time changes thrust upon you by actions of your chosen airline, or by government decree, without having to pay our normal booking amendment fee of $5.50 per item changed. There is no limit to the number of times that you can make a cancellation and have a price-protected new booking.
Our protection package ensures that if an equal period new rental cost is dearer than the cost of your cancelled booking, the new rental price will be discounted by up to 10% to strive for price parity, even if the difference reflects seasonal pricing differences.
Should you curtail any part of your rental, you will receive a refund for the proportion of your rental curtailed, so that you only pay for the period of actual use, plus one day.
Refunds of Security Bonds
When you pay a Security Bond by credit or debit card, we have to pay a transaction fee in respect of the processing of your payment. This fee will vary according to the type of card, but is generally around 1.6%. On most $100.00 Security Bonds, we only receive $98.40, but on American Express or overseas issued cards we receive less. Bond refunds are refunded for the amount that we actually received when you paid your Bond. We are able to accommodate cash Bonds, but no more than $200.00 and you must return the car during our office hours in order for us to give you a cash refund.
