"Having used Family Car Rentals three times now for our trips to Queensland, I would love to pass on how happy we have been with their service. The friendly staff meet us at the airport and nothing has ever been too much trouble. We used to use the larger car companies online as we travel quite regularly for business, however we have locked this company in as our Gold Coast Car contact! I estimate we save around $200 - $400 each time for our weekly stay, which I'd much rather spend on food! Thanks again Family Car Rentals, I have just booked a car today for our trip in June! "As an expatriate Australian living overseas since 1988 I have traveled back to Oz to see family and friends on a yearly basis. We first rented a vehicle from Gold Coast Family Car Rentals in 2002, and have been regular customers since that time. In recent years we have been fortunate enough to be able to return to Oz about 3 times a year and have reserved the vehicle of our choice over the Internet or by phone call. On the 3rd April 2014 we again rented a car from the Gold Coast Family Car Rentals and as always we were completely satisfied with the personal service, the car, and of course the all-inclusive, no hassle transparent pricing. We often rent vehicles overseas and it can be a shock after the event to discover the hidden costs when the credit card bill arrives, so with Darryl and his family we know the price when we book and there are no unpleasant credit card surprises a month later. I think that being a return customer since 2002, and after what must be coming up to 25 or 30 rentals over that period, speaks for itself and our satisfaction in our dealings with Darryl Wilson and his team at Family Car Rentals. "I recently came across some Google reviews for Gold Coast Family Car Rentals and I thought I would like to add a review of my own. Having been a customer since Oct 2010, I can sincerely say that my experience has been a really good one. After all, if I had not been satisfied with their service and their cars, why would I have been a customer for so long? On occasion, we have had a couple of mishaps (speeding fines, unpaid tolls and even a shunt up the backside) and found nothing but courtesy from the staff when being informed of these mishaps. As for the shunt up the back side, the company was quick to offer a replacement vehicle so we go on our merry way unhindered. All in all, we have had a very pleasant experience when dealing with Gold Coast Family Car Rentals and have always recommended them to our family and friends."

"I had a pleasant experience. First of all, I am on a P-plate, it's hard to get a rental car from the big company. And they didn't overcharge me because of that, just ask a little bit extra for the insurance, which is fair. I paid about $250 for 4 or 5 days ( Can't remember exactly). They also send someone to my hotel to pick me up, and took me to the airport from their shop after I return the car. The boss told me he has a Getz on the phone, and give me a free upgrade to a Pulsar, the car is very clean, and in good condition."
